1. How do I know if my OA account is locked?
A locked OA account will have a "lock" symbol and be located in the "Locked" section on the OA Administration page ( https://oa.zalo.me/manage/oa?status=0)
2. Reasons why OA is locked and solutions
a. OA does not update information within the specified time.
OA will be locked if information is not updated as requested by Zalo OA Management Board within the specified time. Details:
For requests to update OA information, OA needs to update information within 7 days from the date of receipt of notification.
For authentication requests, the OA needs to perform authentication within 14 days of receiving the notification.
Solution: Refer to the OA registration regulations and recreate a new OA. Locked OA will not be reopened.
Below are some common reasons why OA needs to update information/ is rejected/ locked when registering to create a new one:
- Invalid OA name ➞ OA name does not have a business/brand name.
- Invalid profile picture ➞ OA has a profile picture that violates OA image regulations.
- Invalid cover photo ➞ The OA has a cover photo that meets the OA image regulations.
- Description does not match the registered content ➞ Description has content unrelated to the registered profession or contains offensive words.
- Products banned from display on Zalo ➞ See more products banned from display.
- OA belongs to the financial services category but does not post a valid authentication license attached. ➞ OA with financial-related professions such as credit, banking, pawnshops, securities,... must submit authentication license at the same time as OA creation.
- The new OA name cannot be the same as the previously successfully created OA name. ➞ There is already an OA with the same name approved for registration from the same phone number that created the OA.
b. OA posts content that violates OA operating regulations
For OA posts, Broadcast Media news with illegal content, selling banned products, objectionable content, hostile content/ Attack or content that affects the image of other individuals/organizations, Zalo Official Account will delete the article/Broadcast news and send a warning to OA. If OA continues to violate, Zalo OA Management Board will lock the account.
