What is a labor contract?

A labor contract is an agreement between an employee and an employer regarding paid employment, wages, working conditions, and the rights and obligations of each party in the labor relationship.

- Voluntary, equality, goodwill, cooperation and honesty.

- Freedom to enter into labor contracts but not against the law, collective labor agreement and social ethics.

How to create contract management information in the Human Resources module

When you want to create a new contract, users access Employee Application >> Employees >> Contracts >> click Create.


The contract details screen appears, allowing users to update information:


For general information:

- Contract reference: contract number attached to the employee.

- Employee: employee name.

- Department.

- Position.

Contract details:


- Start date: the date the candidate is officially signed to become a company employee

​- End date: the date the labor contract ends.​- Probation end date: end date of the employee's probation period.

- Working hours: where specific working hours are defined for each employee.

Salary information: is the employee's basic salary.


Note, you are required to declare the most detailed and complete information about basic salary as well as benefits to serve salary calculation.

The contract takes effect immediately when you select Save and select Start. The information in the contract will be an important basis for calculating salary and insurance benefits in the Payroll application.
